Privacy Policy

1. Overview

The Duel is an Android game published by Fat Cat Games. It includes single-player, bot-duel and local two-player modes and does not require a player account.

2. Information handled by the game

Fat Cat Games does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or other contact information to play The Duel. We do not sell personal information. Player names, progress, language and sound preferences are stored locally on your device.

3. Advertising and analytics

The Duel uses Google AdMob to provide optional rewarded ads and ads between games; ads do not interrupt an active duel. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostic data to deliver, measure and protect ads. Where required, the game requests consent before loading ads and provides access to privacy choices from its settings. Google processes this information under its Privacy Policy.

4. Push notifications

If you allow notifications, The Duel uses Firebase Cloud Messaging and FatCatPush to deliver game news and measure notification opens. These services process a push token, platform, app version, language and country. FatCatPush assigns a technical device identifier, which is stored locally; no player account is created. A campaign identifier and that device identifier are sent when you open a notification. You can withdraw permission at any time in Android settings.

5. Device storage and permissions

The Duel may use ordinary on-device storage to keep progress, settings and technical game state. Uninstalling the game generally removes this local information, subject to Android backup and restore features. The game does not require access to your contacts, camera, microphone or precise location for normal gameplay.

6. Support communications

If you contact Fat Cat Games for support, testing feedback or a privacy request, we process the information you choose to send, such as your email address and message, only as reasonably necessary to respond, protect the game or meet legal obligations.

7. Data security and retention

Information sent directly to us is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was received. Push registration data is retained while the device remains registered or until it is no longer needed to provide notifications. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information to play The Duel. If you believe a child has sent personal information directly to Fat Cat Games, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion, or to restrict or object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise rights for information directly controlled by Fat Cat Games.

10. Service and platform providers

The Duel is distributed through Google Play and uses Google Firebase for push delivery. Google may independently process information under its own Privacy Policy. FatCatPush is operated by Fat Cat Games to manage notification registrations, campaigns and delivery events.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if The Duel adds online features, service providers or different data practices. The “Last updated” date shows when this policy was most recently revised.
